The Indians used to pull the ocre out of these ponds to use as a colorant in dyes. The walk back to see the ponds is only about 1k from the road. It’s a beautiful walk and the paint pot colors and the forrest blend beautifully together.

« Incredible property. Meticulously maintained, beautifully clean and very well stocked with all the kitchen kit you might need. The piste (holohike- blue and Holiday - green) are directly over the road so truly ski to door.
