« Came down to Shrewsbury for a family reunion, we booked this place as it was very fair priced for every it had to offer. We had a lovely time, the house is in an amazing location, basically in the town centre! The interior was clean and tidy. I can happily recommend booking with this host! »

« The property was falsely advertised as 7 bedrooms when it was 6 bedrooms. The house was very untidy and sheets were not washed. Used toilet paper was even found in drawers. We had to clean up ourselves as soon as we got there. Even though photo evidence was submitted to Vrbo, they could not get the host to compensate for at least the false advertising. This is where I believe Vrbo was complicit. Poor customer service. NEVER USING Vrbo AGAIN. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. »

« Friend and I stayed overnight for a gig at the Utilita arena, which was literally 10 minutes walk away and easy enough to get to. Property was clean and well maintained. The only issue would be parking for more than one vehicle as there was just about room directly outside for one car, and the only other option was to park in the spaces by the row of shops opposite. Everywhere else was resident permit parking only. »

« We had a brilliant time here, the cottage is clean and very cosy. Jackie and her husband are very nice people and they made us feel welcome. The area of the cottage is great for walks and the town of Ashbourne is only a walk away, we will be back »

« The staff was very helpful and friendly. But the house was unsafe and it was dangerous for fire no fire escape from the room. The room hadn't been readied there was no bed linen and it wasn't ready to go into so we had to wait for a hour. »

« Lovely stay at The Barn – friendly and helpful hosts with quick responses. Checking was stress free. Rooms were comfortable with extra blankets for added coziness. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the hot tub was a real highlight. Peaceful setting (depending on neighbours). Would definitely stay again! »

"Je n’ai pas vraiment aimĂ© le concept de la toilette dans la douche avec le lavabo mais je sais que ce n’est pas le cas pour les plus grande chambre. Donc j’y retournerais en prenant une plus grande chambre. "
