« The apartment was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Fab views of the sea and castle made up for having to climb three flights of stairs (no lift). Delicious breakfast at the hotel next door is a very reasonable £15 per head. Easy walk into the town centre/Peasholme Park/Open Air theatre. Very helpful staff. »

« Very comfortable accommodation. It is situated in an ideal place for access to the South bay and the Italian gardens.and in the opposite direction straight into town . We don’t find the steps down a problem but other less able people would . We have been back to this same flat 3 times now , so that speaks for itself. »

« Positives were the quiet and convenient location, big fluffy towels, modern kitchen, renovated bathrooms, and comfortable bed. There were many negatives including shower and tub drains that had water coming up them during a heavy downpour. The drain smell was sickening. The carpets need cleaning. Upon arrival it was evident the carpets had not been vacuumed so I did only to discover the machine dust bag was full. It smelled of dog. The lower level has an unpleasant odor despite diffusers in two...

« Unfortunately it was a cold and wet day when we arrived. After climbing a very narrow winding staircase to our apartment - some 40 or so steps - it was disappointing to find that the rooms were very cold as no heating had been switched on in anticipation of our arrival. After switching on the underfloor heating it did begin to warm up, but to add to the frustration this did not appear to work in the main bedroom or the ‘en suite’. A free standing electric heater was provided but wasn’t easy...
