« Booked a 2 night stay for our 1st Anniversary. Excellent communication from host. Absolutely wonderful to have been given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom lodge. Bedroom beautifully decorated with swan towels and rose petals - superb touch, along with anniversary banner on the door - thanks you. The lodge was clean cosy and home from home. Amazing views from the hot tub which was clean and covered with a veranda and fairy lights which made it perfect to relax. Would 100% recommend to anyone...

« Delightful rural retreat combining all mod cons with rustic cosy charm. Excellent communication with owner, Maria, who was more than helpful with advice and a great welcome package. The cabin is fully stocked for log fire, strong hot shower, dishwasher and laundry, changes of bedding and towels on our long stay and with a well appointed kitchen. Great location to nip into Pickering for supplies, up on the moors and into Whitby, or around the corner to Dalby Forest. You can even see the NYMR...
