« We chose the hottest days of the year to stay so the room was boiling, fortunately we took a fan with us but the owner also gave us another too. The room was perfectly adequate for our needs good shower but the toilet flush was slow, plenty of tea/coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. Easy breakfast idea in dining room lots of choice (but no cooked) we knew b4 so never worried us. I thought it was good value for the money more than happy. Big bonus there was parking and 10 min walk...

« The Redan was the best hospitality experience of our English holiday, nothing less! The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Inn itself was newly renovated and offered all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. In spite of having a Public House on the ground floor, our room was quiet and peaceful. « The guest house was well-located and very clean. We had Room 5 which was on the second floor with a sea view - the only downside was that it was quite noisy until late at night with traffic/music. We'd probably opt for a rear-facing room next time, which over-looked the harbour. The room had everything we needed, although a fan would have been useful as it was very hot when we stayed. Breakfast was good quality and tasty, but the only option seemed to be a cooked breakfast - no cereals, fruit...
