« There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark. »

« The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. « The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm. »

« Historic old mill, wonderful location, especially if you love running water.. Staff were exceedingly helpful, especially Dylan and Tracey. All in very good. Senior management would help by getting plumbing problems fixed asap, and staffing up for big events. »

« A very nice hotel in a lovely street, close to the sea. Of course you have to take the bus to go downtown which is not very close, unless you have a car. The street is quiet so you can sleep without being bothered by noise. The bed is good and it is useful to have a little kitchen well equipped. The only thing lacking is a towel holder in the shower and in the room. The little garden is lovely and the owner is very welcoming. »
