« Perfect….just perfect! »

« Very pleasant stay. Very cosy cottage, well equipped with everything we needed for our short stay. Really enjoyed the break and the friendliness of the local people. Definitely recommend The White Horse where we had a lovely evening meal. »

« Nice quiet location with good dog walks from the door. Sadly the pub was closed for annual holidays, but plenty available nearby. Overall the cottage was quite comfortable, but it was not very clean in places and crockery had been put away dirty. »

« B&B avec de grandes chambres et salles de bain attenantes, très propre et confortable. Situé dans la magnifique campagne du Dorset. La propriétaire est très accueillante, gentille et attentionnée. Quand on rentrait l'après-midi elle nous apportait du lait frais pour le thé et des biscuits. Elle avait plein de bonnes adresses pour aller manger et connait bien la région. Ses petits déjeuner étaient incroyable, très bon English breakfast qu'elle cuisine le plus sainement possible (peu de matières...

« Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast. »

« The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and filling. With tasty bread sausages and bacon. The staff were very helpful. I had to ask for help to switch the shower off as it seemed to get stuck. Unfortunately I was not able to use the pool and sauna as closed for maintenance. That had been what had attracted me to the property in the first place! Great location and easy walk to Gold Hill. »

« Personnel très courtois et aux petits soins »

« Excellent all around and lovely staff »

« Confortable, propre, acceuil de très haut niveau, nourriture de qualité, cadre reposant »

« Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown. »

« we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning again. »

« Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality. »
