« The breakfast was, I’d say, better than in a Hotel Ibis. The food was, definitely, locally sourced. We reached Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth arts complex easily from this hotel. We also visited the Jurassic Coast, but that took us a whole day, and we returned by 10pm. »

« A very nice hotel in a lovely street, close to the sea. Of course you have to take the bus to go downtown which is not very close, unless you have a car. The street is quiet so you can sleep without being bothered by noise. The bed is good and it is useful to have a little kitchen well equipped. The only thing lacking is a towel holder in the shower and in the room. The little garden is lovely and the owner is very welcoming. »

« There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark. »

« The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast very much, which was beautifully cooked and presented. To have parking at such a central location was great. We did have to play around getting out...

« Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that. »

« Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel-pub situé dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Nous avions une grande et belle chambre très propre avec literie confortable. Le pub ferme assez tôt même en week-end (23h) donc nous n'avons absolument pas été dérangés pour dormir. Très bon petit déjeuner à l'anglaise avec plusieurs choix possibles. Personnel très sympathique. »
