« Great view, intriguing. Reakfastbwhich worked really well. Great comms from the host who wasn’t available when I arrived. Great view over the back field watching the harvest come in! Tip - reverse into the parking space it’s fairly tricky to reverse out onto the road depending on time of day. »

« It was very obvious from the start that the house was newly renovated. Almost everything still had the tags on it. Absolutely nothing was plugged in, turned on or tested before I got there. There were no amenities, such as soap, dish cloths, cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet brushes, or even bins in the bathrooms. I worked through some of these issues fairly easily with the management company. If you stay with a dog, be aware that the next-door neighbors have two dogs that are extremely...

« We came to Suffolk to do some family tree research and Orford was a great place to stay. Although there wasn't dedicated parking, there was always plenty of space in the market square. The village itself is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to walk and explore. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and well equipped. »

« On arrival, net curtains and untidy garden does not give a good impression. The property stank of smoke which air Fabrise and air freshener could not overcome. « Cottage très agréable, vaste et très bien équipé (il manquait simplement une essoreuse à salade...). Intérieur cosy confortable. Magnifique jardin parfaitement entretenu. Calme assuré, à l'écart des grandes routes. Très bonne situation pour visiter le Norfolk, le Suffolk et le Cambridgeshire sans faire trop de km. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement, un des plus beaux que j'ai connu (l'autre étant à Churchill, dans les Cotswolds). »

« Nice property, well set up and matches the description. Hosts went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed »

« Fantastix stay. Huw was very friendly and communicative both before and during our stay. The property has everything we needed, nice comfy beds, good kitchen area (including more utensils and other equipment than normal in rentals) and confortable sitting area. Parking is really easy, location is really quiet but close to the main road and town. »

« Perfect house for large family events, excellent kitchen space, well equipped, spacious rooms, plenty of bathrooms and space for everyone, outside space excellent, secure garden and great hot tubs. »

« We were 5 adults and a baby plus two English Pointers! Brook Farm was big enough that we didn’t feel on top of each other and there was always plenty to do. My 22 year old daughter spent most of the week in the hot tub…once you get the hang of lighting the fire it is quite straightforward, the trick is to plan ahead! We all enjoyed an evening and wet afternoon in the games barn. It’s the garden and pond that were the main attractions for me though…our dogs were in heaven and I was able to relax...

"The team at reception and at the restaurant (dinner, breakfast) were professionals and very kind. There is a big issue with housekeeping : we stayed with a baby during 5 nights and we had to show we were upset: then they cleand our room ! In fact they never used the vacuum (but we asked for because the room was very dusty ) snd they made the befs only once in 5 nights !!!! 200 euro per night : the cleaning doesn’t deserve this money !!!!"

"Le lieu est absolument magnifique, la propriété, le parc, les arbres. En revanche les lieux de restauration ont clairement besoin d'un manager. Malgré le nombre conséquent de personnel, le petit déjeuner n'était pas régulièrement fourni. Les employés sont cachés à droite à gauche, occupés à plier des serviettes en discutant ou en consommant des bouteilles cachées dans les placards... Un soir nous avons attendu 1h notre commande de repas alors que nous étions avec 2 enfants. C'est vraiment dommage car le lieu est magique et mérite mieux. "
