« Great location. Lovely welcoming gifts. Superb log burner in lounge. Lack of hooks in bathroom and an uncomfortable sofa in lounge are the only minors....but that is me being picky. »

« We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

« All great tho we'd have liked the kitchen, especially the cooker, to have been cleaner on arrival. However the owner tells us he is going to renew his kitchen at this property which we hope to see next year when we come in March! We plan to return on a regular basis.... »

« Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area. »

« We really enjoyed our stay at April Cottage, it is homely and cosy in a great location to explore the New Forest and the South Coast. The cottage was lovely and big enough for a family of four (including 2 older teenage boys). The bedrooms, bathroom and downstairs loo are spacious. The lounge and dining area provide a lovely space to eat, play games and watch tv together. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need. « Ideal location. Pub a 3 minute walk with fabulous food and service. Great walks straight from cottage. Easy to walk to Lyndhurst 15 minutes and Boulton Bench 20. Easy access toother places - secure garden with horses out the front - parking etc The house is tired and needs some updates and new bedding. However it did not ruin our stay but should be done for cost. The host was fabulous and did deal with queries and put right issues. Great welcome basket too. »
