The proximity to Chatsworth, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and other more local sights meant it was one of our few trips where we were able to have very short drives to very majestic places many days. « Our adult family of 5 had a lovely stay in Vinod and Krishna's beautiful cottage. The living/ dining room was perfect for spending time together, and the views were stunning. The beds were comfy and the cottage was clean and well thought-out. Vinod was a considerate host and easy to contact when needed. The location is handy for lots of lovely walks and Chatsworth House is a short drive away. We would happily stay here again! »

« Loved our stay at Ranmoor! Very high quality property with excellent beds, brilliantly equipped kitchen, gorgeous gardens in a very convenient yet quiet location. We ate at the Fish Pond pub - highly recommend the nasi goreng - and went to the Heights of Abraham, Cromford and walked locally across the hill to Matlock.
