« A fantastic, roomy property in a beautiful rural setting. Sally was really helpful at check-in as the postcode doesn't quite match the location and tricky to locate in the dark! The property is furnished very tastefully and equipped to a high standard too. TV, bed and shower all very good. A few handy welcome gifts too including, tea, coffee, biscuits and washing up things - thanks! Would definitely recommend. »

« Grove Lodge was the perfect choice for our family of 8 adults celebrating my father's 100th birthday. The ground floor ensuite bedroom was perfect for him. The house was clean and very well equipped. As we had goodcweather we were able to enjoy the lovely private garden. We were met by Lee who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful advice about the area. »

« We loved our time at this charming home! From the fairy tale garden to the comfortable spaces, it is everything us Americans imagine for a typical English countryside home. Malcolm and Tina were wonderful hosts, they went above and beyond when we encountered a minor medical problem, and we enjoyed visiting with them and hearing their experiences of a lifetime in the area. We enjoyed our visit so much, we are already planning a return! »

« Great property for a mixed group of old friends. With the property being 2 cottages we were able to have a boys and a girls cottage each for sleeping but only using one for cooking and dining and one lounge was big enough for relaxing in plus we had hired a hot tub in a garden. The 2 cottage layout would also work for 2 families as there are 2 kitchens and lounges with enormous tv screens. Parking ok as we were able to squeeze 8 cars in the off road parking. Our group was 11 adults »

« We spent 4 great days at Dan's who was so welcoming and friendly. The bedroom is very big and the bed is so comfy. Dans provides some cereals, croissants, orange juice and hot drinks every morning. Another perk was that we could use the kitchen and cook our meals, or take an already prepared salad on the table outside to enjoy the sun in the garden. Cherry on the cake: Dan has got a kayak we used to paddle along the coast which was fun. We practised our English over a drink on our last night. »

« Pretty and comfortable cottage - was lovely and warm. Lovely touch to have a Christmas tree and lights. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. »

« We were in the area to visit family. The location was great with easy access to the few shops in Sway. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. »

« small and perfectly formed for an active family holiday! this is our second stay here, and for the price, we dont think you can beat it. Yes, it's a small cottage and the stairs are an adventure (! - we recommend channelling your inner sailor and coming down backwards!), but the beds are comfy after a day exploring, the back garden private for a bbq and enclosed for the dogs, the pub x2 doors down is welcoming and has a hearty menu and if you want to stay in, the kitchen has every thing you need...
