« I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay. »

« The cottage smells musty. Full of spiders and I found a little shrew that had expired on the kitchen floor when I came back one evening. I left it for the owner. Will not be re- booking. »

« Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay »

« What a lovely cottage and an excellent host. The village of Youlgrave is stunning with plenty of local amenities, x3 pubs, Post Office, Local store and Bakery. Never been to a place which is so praceful at night with no light pollution. Well located for many of the Peak District's pleasures. The log burner was particularly enjoyed as it was still with chilly towards the end of April. Would definately recommend. »
