« I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay. »

« Property was lovely and clean with tasteful interior. Beds are comfortable and master bedroom in particular was huge with a lovely view. Local pub was great and in walking distance.We found the layout of the house to be odd, particularly the dinning table that is located in the entrance hallway with limited space around it. « Good for a local stay for exploring nearby amenities and if your out and about. I would say more comfortable for a family of 5 or 6. Was a squeeze in the living room area with places to sit but dining area and conservatory was lovely! Main downside of our stay is going as a family of 7 and seeing this place sleeps 7 on listing with a sofa bed but actually means someone just to sleep on the sofa. « It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom. »

« We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff.
