« The amenities were poorly maintained and not well cleaned. There was a broken toilet seat and we could not use it, broken shower tray and mould, cobwebs everwhere. We had no extra bedding for the guest sleeping on the sofa bed. There was a horrible smell in one bedroom and bathroom so we don't believe they have been fully cleaned. We tried numerous times to speak to the host to get this solved but no effort was made and our calls were ignored. Vrbo customer service were helpless and only said...

« Excellent, spacious, well decorated self - catering property. The washing machine/tumble dryer was an added bonus for washing our cycling kit. »

« The apartment was excellent, just a couple of things The wife said a mirror in the bedroom would be good , the door in bedrooms could maybe have hooks on them , the hinges on the doors would benefit from a bit of WD40 sprayed on them (squeaks) and the sign out side front bedroom needs a bit of grease on it .Small things didn't spoil our stay and the food in the pub great nothing was to much trouble »

« Lovely property, well equiped and great correspondence throughout our stay. The property is in a fab location for exporing Bakewell and the surrounding area and we really enjoyed our stay. »

« The flat was really clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen, including a washer/dryer. Heating and hot water was very efficient (and much appreciated after a windy day on the hills). Very easy to visit by train. The little shop is less than 5 minutes away and is well stocked and the bakery does lovely pastries and a range of other things. Hourly trains into Sheffield make it a good spot to visit both the city and the Peaks. The area is beautiful and it's great being able to walk from...
