« The cottage is in a great location, only a 2 minute walk into the town. The hot tub was lovely and private. All rooms were clean and tidy, with enough room for 3 couples. It’s very dog friendly, and highly recommend for anyone who is looking to stay in Bakewell! »

« The apartment was excellent, just a couple of things The wife said a mirror in the bedroom would be good , the door in bedrooms could maybe have hooks on them , the hinges on the doors would benefit from a bit of WD40 sprayed on them (squeaks) and the sign out side front bedroom needs a bit of grease on it .Small things didn't spoil our stay and the food in the pub great nothing was to much trouble »

« We have stayed at this property before. Nothing much has changed and the property is getting a little long in the tooth and some things need attention. Showers are getting old and worn out and in parts need replacing. In one bathroom the extractor failed to operate. In one bedroom there was no available wardrobe or chest of draws so one had to live out of their suitcase. The other bedroom had a wardrobe which was not deep enough (needs to be at least 600mm) for the normal size hangers so was...

« Location Change the standard of maintenance. Needs a lot of repairs and cleaning. Show the cracks and stains on wall and carpets. The entrance is horrendous. Don't pretend the photos are true. »

« Great little apartment in a perfect central location. It was modern, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable few days in Matlock. Would happily stay again. Not necessarily improvements, just points for future guests to note – as it’s so centrally located, you can hear some road traffic and noise from a nearby karaoke bar, especially in the evenings. The apartment can also get quite warm, but fans are provided which do help. »

« Fantastic property with plenty of space for everyone. Very well kept and maintained. Ideal location for visiting the surrounding areas. Lovely little village very close that has everything that you may need.Communication with property owners was fantastic and quick too. »
