« Very nice pub attached to the hotel. »

« I’m loathed to give a bad review, but we stayed during hot weather and the room was unbearable, at least 35C for the whole night. The top of the sash window was painted shut and the bottom only opened 2inches because of the safety latch. It’s a shame because the pub was nice, lovely old building, easy parking, the bar was good and the staff were great. The room was clean modernised and comfortable, the fan could have done with a clean to work better. We left at 5am to escape the heat so can’t...

« Great pub/hotel/bistro in a beautiful peaceful village. Staff were extremely helpful. We had a wedding with so needed an early check-in and late return. Both were accommodated for. Room was clean, fresh. Continental breakfast was included in price. We also paid extra for cooked b/fast. Very nice freshly cooked, hot, good quality products. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend the Star Inn and stay there again. Or even go for a nice meal. Give it a go ! »

« j'ai envoyé plusieurs message via le chat et mail ou téléphone pour savoir si l'hébergement acceptait les late arrivals. Je n'ai pas eu de réponse. quand j'ai enfin pu joindre l'hébergement le soir de l'arrivée, on m'a indiqué qu'il n'y aurait plus personnes pour nous accueillir, et nous avons payé pour rien. »

« Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom. Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc. Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big. « Cadre en campagne mais très plaisant et agréable. Super petit déjeuner à l'anglaise, je recommande fortement. Dommage que l'hotel propose uniquement des taxis dans la ville même et pas de chauffeur de l'aéroport de Manchester »

« Très belle chambre, grand confort et la cadeau de bienvenue était un vrai bonus nous qui adorons le Titanic ! Par contre petit couac, il n’y avait pas de produit d’hygiène dans la salle de bain pour la douche. De plus le petit déjeuner était fermé ce jour là. Mais nous avons été orienté vers un très bon endroit. »
