« I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub. »

« Un très bon endroit pour passer une nuit lors de notre périple jusqu'en Ecosse. La chambre était très confortable, et très calme. Le restaurant était plutôt agréable avec une remise pour les résidents de l'hôtel. Juste une petite chose à savoir, l'hôtel n'est pas situé à Doncaster, car le GPS nous a amené dans la rue qui porte le même nom à Doncaster centre ville. Un excellent rapport qualité prix pour la chambre familiale »

« Le restaurant est vraiment bien. Malheureusement pour avoir une bonne nuit (ce qui reste l'essentiel dans mon cas), c'est compliqué quand la chambre est au dessus des cuisines dans une vieille bâtisse... Bruiante jusqu'à plus de 23h puis ça repart avec réception marchandise à 6h. »

« Another restful stay at this lovely hotel. It’s always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The bar /restaurant is excellent. We normally stay weekdays and it’s pretty quiet but it’s a near perfect wedding/party venue so I would imagine it’s pretty busy and maybe not so restful at the weekends. It’s situated near but not in the Peak District in lovely surroundings. Hopefully we’ll be back again sometime. »

« Accueil très sympathique, nous n'avons pas dîné à l'hôtel car nous avions rendez-vous ailleurs, mais le menu semblait très bien. Un lit king size plus en fait un atout particulier. Le déjeuner peut être Anglais ou continental. Si nous avions pu rester la journée suivante nous aurions demandé si nous pouvions y passer une nuit supplémentaire. »

« Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again. »

« A last minute booking because we were visiting friends in Brigg. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The parking, meals and access out of hours all explained to us. It was very warm so the fan in the room was very much appreciated »

"Le bar fermait très tôt à partir de minuit, il ne servait plus personne sans offrir la chance de commander un last call. La personne qui s'occupe de la sécurité à la porte n'était pas très poli et compréhensive."

Bon séjour

"L'établissement est vraiment propre et calme (sauf la musique au restaurant = trop forte). Seul pièce manquante: une lampe au dessus du bureau! Pour travailler c'est vraiment très juste. Dommage aussi qu'ils n'aient pas eu un adaptateur pour prise d'ordinateur (celle qui m'a été donnée était trop petite). "
