« We stayed at the Pilsley Inn for one night to see Chatsworth on our way to Manchester. The pub food and service were great. We had 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and both service and food were really very good. Servers and staff were attentive and hospitable. The location is also excellent. « A really great traditional inn, great food, brilliant atmosphere and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The bonus of a private car park in Bakewell is a pearl beyond price, as parking, especially on market days is at a premium. I would have given the max stars had the room, which was OK had not been a little small ( it was named BAKEWELL). There you go. »

« The room was huge with more than enough space for a seating area as well as a dressing table/coffee station. Tea/coffee provided and hairdryer in room. Bathroom was adequate but dated and some of the seating in the bedroom area was ripped and one of the bedside lights didn’t work.
