« We loved our salty ate the lodge. The grounds are tidy and as described being next to the lake and very peaceful. The birds that visit and feed from the deck are beautiful and great to watch. Lodge is warm and cosy and has everything needed for a great stay. Ali was great to deal with and very good with responding if we have any questions. Thank you for such a lovely time in the Lake District for our first time there! »

« Fantastic place to stay, friendly owners, amazing views, facilities were great and we loved seeing the animals. Have already recommended it to friends and family and we will return in the summer. The Oddfellows Arms was also a great pub nearby with excellent food. »

« We loved staying at this lodge. It’s secluded and was fantastic for self-catering. Just over 10 mins drive to the amazing village of Keswick which has incredible eateries. Sam and Jan, the hosts, were fantastic as was their local handyman who needed to help us with a tiny issue…he appeared in less than 15 minutes of us texting them! Absolutely crucial for there to be excellent comms with hosts and that’s exactly what we experienced. Important to note there is nothing at the lodge resort or...
