Welcome to your home away from home! This cute and cozy 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow home can sleep 7 or 8 guests with ease. Discover the Motor City's top destinations on your next Detroit getaway! Situated in the Malvern Hill residential area, this cozy home offers a peaceful respite with easy access to downtown. Located on the westside of Detroit next to the Redford border. Only 20 mins to downtown Detroit. Easy safe secure driveway & street parking. The front door is equipped with a keypad for entry.

    This Place? Meh.

    The location and the check-in process were fine, with nothing of note. All the critiques are for the actual place itself. The sink in the upstairs bathroom was clogged and subsequently leaking onto the floor, so my friends just stopped using it and made peace with using the downstairs bathroom on the main floor. The overarching theme for this place is that it just needs to be intensely deep cleaned. Clearly everyone's standards of "clean" are subjective, but if this is what this property considers clean, perhaps a refresh on the definition of the word would help. Overall, the place is just as the title suggests: meh. My friends and I spent very little time in the actual place itself as we were out doing things throughout the weekend. It was a place to rest our heads and be safe and for that we are thankful. Would we book this again knowing what we know now? No.

    Wife birthday trip

    House needs a good deep cleaning!!! Cob webs on a stand the day we arrived, baseboards are dirty, some walls needed to be washed as well. The master bed sheet was on sideways, slept ok. The bed rooms upstairs has an extension cord across the floor to plug in the air conditioner, with a rug over the cord. Not to bad of a neighbor, but could always hear dogs barking. Lots of business and restaurants closed in the area, gps takes u to the place and it’s closed down. Cups in cupboards looked dirty. I washed everything before we used it. The table clothes was ragged, towels and what few wash clothes were ragged. The couch could use a new one, found someone else hair stuck to the couch cover. In my option the house is too old and outdated for the price. Old everything!!!

    Family Visit to Greenfield Village

    House as described. Worked great for our family (2 adults, 4 kids) to stay at on a weekend trip to the Henry Ford and the Greenfield Village. House is older and dated but is otherwise in good condition. Window a/c units in living room and bedrooms kept the indoor temperatures comfortable.

    Awful and rude

    Our stay started with finding dirty diapers on the bed followed by dirty Q-tips on the floor in the bathrooms. When we contacted the home owner he just told us to throw it away and look through the house for anything else. Then we experienced the ceiling leaking after someone used the upstairs bathroom and upon further inspection there was mold and cheaply repairs cracks in the ceiling and around the bathroom toilet. Again, after contacting the home owner he told us it was our fault and we must have overflowed the toilet. 0/10 do not stay here

    Thanksgiving dinner

    I had such an amazing experience with the host and property. Everything went smoothly. We cooked thanksgiving dinner at the rental and there was enough space for everyone.
