Horrible hotel. Book somewhere else!
This hotel was terrible. They did not have the room that we booked even if the hotel wasn’t full. Guests checking before and after were also told they did not have the room they booked. The place was dirty and we had to make our own bed. The pool area was unclean. There were people not staying at the hotel that were roaming in the hallways at night and were eating the breakfast.

Very nice staff, they do everything they can to please you. However, the traffic was a bit noisy because the room was on the side of the freeway.

We are a group of 14 French and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during the Detroit Auto Show (January 21st to 24th), we booked 7 rooms in May 2018 and paid € 2100 for these 3 nights. Upon our arrival and check-in, the hotel checked out for a second time the three nights which is still € 2100. We noticed this the day of our last day in the Midwest when leaving Chicago to return to France. We contacted by email the general manager to inform him of the situation, he naturally asked us to justify us via our statements of account. We justified our damage and after a lot of exchanges remained mostly unanswered, we learn that our situation is the top priority of GM and that he will commit to pay us back as soon as possible ... Today this It's been two and a half months since we returned home to France, and to date, two rooms out of seven have been reimbursed, since no news, no communication, total disregard, it denotes with a large hotel chain, I find scandalous to take people hostage in this way, it's been almost three months that I have to live with 1500 € of damage. I do not recommend this hotel, go your way, they are serious.

We are happy that we were able to resolve this. I apologize that we were unable to do this in a "faster" fashion. We hope that your group will give us another try next time you are visiting the Detroit area!

The property was close to where I wanted to be. The staff was service oriented and were very helpful. There were plenty of towels in the room and the room was clean and ready for occupancy. The corridors could use an update.

The room itself was clean, and the linens fresh and clean. The TV worked. Hotel staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable, but no more. The property itself is fairly run down and needs some TLC. Overall a decent if unpretentious place to stay a couple of nights at an affordable price.

Our stay was great staff were nice to work with. Only thing that kinda sucked was that the shower head holder was broke so we had to hold the shower head. Wasn’t a big deal to us just sucked a little bit. Otherwise very clean and breakfast was nice.

Beware of this property very unsafe and dirty. I check into the hotel in the evening. Upon checkin I notice gentlemen loitering in the lobby not to far from the front desk, sitting kinda unseen, but lerking. I was given room 203 on the second floor once entering the room I immediately notice the curtain on window are missing and room is very outdated and has a musty smell the room is facing the back parking and a truck sitting within view of the window curtians. I go to the front desk to let them know and request a new room, the receptionist advised Im sorry im busy, I cant step away. I dont need you to come see the missing curtains. I just need a new room that has curtians for privacy. So I go back to room 203 and take pictures and go back to the front and Im finally given another room. I get a new room 218. Once in the room I notice the room also has a musty smell and crumbs on the desk chair, night stand upon wiping down the night stand with lysol wipes I notice blood all over the gold bed skirt on one of the beds. The blood was all along the bed gold bed skirt. Some of the blood looked new and some looked old. I immediately get my things and leave the room to check out after getting a second room within 15min. I requested a refund and was advised to call back in the morning and request to speak with Tyler. I call the following morning left a message no callback. This by far is the dirtiest hotel i have every stayed at. There were also men loitering in the parking.

The fire alarm goes off early Saturday morning. I make my way down to the lobby and people are eating breakfast like nothing happened. Not one single employee gave instructions or information about what’s happening. Later that night the water in the shower was freezing cold… mind you I had only timed the hit water on.

This is a nice property but it needs a renovation. The jacuzzi suite I stayed in had tape on the walls like there was a party, there was water in the jacuzzi, there were scuffs all over the walls (needs to be patched up and repainted), no remote to the fireplace, the tv hides a mess behind it, the pool looked dirty(green).

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I was without a door knob for 4 days on the bathroom i kept asking and they did nothing for it. Also when you request towels they didnt bring them or when you went to the desk the would want you to carry wet dirty towels to the front desk!!!!! THIS PLACE WAS A HOT MESS

Dirty bed skirt, wrinkled sheets, extremely bad odor, dirty tub, roach on the wall, leftover food from past guests in the refrigerator, had to reactivate key cards every time we came back in the hotel. Remote control to the tv worked sometimes. No access to the alleged wifi.

It was decent but we got a room with hot tub and it was not big enough for two people. Also the smell of majauana was strong in the halls and in our room.

The person above me had music loud from the time I arrived until i left. I called the front desk from 6-8 no answer I finally got up went down to desk told lady she said she would take care of it maybe she could not find the person but i find that hard because ahe knocked on the doors yesterday to find bad kids ao she could have knocked or even went up there to find the noise very disappointed

The TV's and phones did not work so we had to walk to the front desk via the outdoors (multiple entrances) to try to get our room swiched in sub zero temperature. Everything in the room was dusty and felt dirty, you can tell they have not done a deep clean in a while. Rooms have super dim lighting and location is sucluted making it feel unsafe/creepy. When addressing these conserns with Comfort Inn & Suites would not accomidate a new room or refund. Will never go back!

unexpected let down
This was a 2 day mini vacation with the kids. we love going to this particular hotel location. unfortunatly or stay was not that good this time. The windows had cracks in the seal and the windows were all wet, which adds to the next issus of the mold, there was mod all on the walls and curtain and darkening blinds in the room. like i said in the begining, love this hotel but just a bad room this time.

Was not very clean in need of updates immediately and service was horrible toilet was clogged was told to come get a plunger and fix it myself. Use to be very nice I suggest new management and decor update..
