« Tewinbury Farm Hotel is an incredible spot. From the grounds, food & drink and room options. We booked a woodland hut for 2 nights. It had more than we expected (air con, ironing board, decent size fridge, hob, toaster etc) was clean and lots of little touches which made it lovely. The bed was full size and lush bedding - we would book again! Had pizza and beer in the courtyard Friday night, which despite how busy it was, was great. They have weddings and events on, but you wouldn’t know it....

« Lovely staff, very helpful . Our room was very nice, but a little bit tired and old-fashioned . That was a tear in one of the curtains and the French window onto the garden didn’t engage down at the bottom thus not locking properly alsowe had a lightbulb out on the wall lights behind the bed. Nothing to spoil the visit. It was taken on board at reception when we mentioned it on our departure. Also have to comment that one of our breakfast was not good for £20 per person. « La chambre était correcte, sans plus. Le personnel était avenant. Seul problème : le petit déjeuner du matin (obligation d'un breakfast anglais à prendre dans un établissement voisin, avec haricots, œuf et saucisse ! Impossibilité d'avoir un café + lait + pain + beurre + confiture ... Inadmissible !) »

« L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur de St Albans. Les lits sont confortables. Gros bémols : un personnel peu aimable a part une ou deux exceptions. Ni bonjour ni au revoir. Il y fallu réclamer pour que le ménage soit fait dans la chambre ! Vous imaginez la mauvaise surprise au retour d’une journée passée à Londres ! »
