« Wonderful place for a Finger Lakes getaway with a great beach that we and our dog loved and nearby hiking, wineries and restaurants. Debra was fantastic, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The main house was clean and well equipped with high-speed wifi for the couple of meetings I wasn't able to get out of. Highly recommended. »

« We enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful and we took advantage of having campfires on the beach while listening to the waves and birds. The cottage is quaint like stepping back in time, which made it easy to leave the stress of every day life behind! We also appreciated Wes, helping us find the location. Use Apple Maps, not Waze! The cottage has everything you need to make meals and relax. We hiked every day at the many parks nearby. The location is close to everything! »

« This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too. The house is about 30 minutes from Ithaca and the last 10 minutes of the drive are on a gravel, single lane road that becomes steep at the driveway. The...

« Our visit to The Painted Porch was fantastic. The home, neighborhood and time of year made for a perfect getaway with our dogs. "As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
