« While this hotel is a little dated, it still has charm and some wonderfully warm and welcoming personnel. The quality and range of ingredients in the breakfast could be improved (especially the coffee) but the view in the breakfast room makes up for that. »

« Hotel very clean and freshly painted. Great view of the sea. Our room was clean and modern but noisy as next to the bar and water evacuation pipes just next to our bed. Probably got the hotels.com room. Breakfast booked for 9 am - very good but service disorganised. »

« Great base for the northumberland coast,we visited bamburgh which has lots of history,we can recommend the grace darling museum and the church .Also Alnwick has a fantastic castle,( harry potter was filmed there.) The Amble inn had a great atmosphere we were lucky,band played on the friday we arrived .they played great music.And the meal we booked was lovely.well done to all the staff we were made very welcome and nothing was to much trouble.
Plenty of free parking aswell. »
