« We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away.
This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes.
The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream)
Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I needn’t have worried.

« Perfect spot to visit York and surroundings. Place is useful. Parking plenty of EV pods. A shopping centre close to the hotel allows all food breaks. »

« I booked this hotel for a long weekend break with my family. Due to a genuine emergency, I was unable to check in on the day of arrival. I messaged the hotel through Expedia in advance to explain the situation — they acknowledged my message regarding parking, but completely ignored my notice that I would not be arriving that day.
When I arrived the following day, I was told my room had been given to someone else. The hotel had re-listed and re-sold my room without any notification or attempt to...
