« Very good quality accommodation in a beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Rather remote (which we wanted), the owners had arranged for some essentials to be provided for us in case we had forgotten to bring anything. House very warm, wifi worked well, some stunning views from the house and garden. We were a group of 9 walkers and found the rooming very good - so nice to find a large place that can convert double rooms to twins! Plenty of bathrooms and a well appointed kitchen. »

« On arrival could have done with better signage as to where to park as we ended up parking at Forbidden Corner. Also not easy to find Reception and when we did find there was no-one there for 10 mins. Room nice, dressing gown and slippers nice touch. Had evening meal in the bar which was ok and staff were attentive. Meals on the Sunday finished at 5 and bar closed which was inconvenient. We were informed no staff on site again until Wed. We couldn’t boil kettle Mon morning as electric went off...
