Maisons de ville à Horsehouse

« It was excellent value, comfy and cosy. Loved that there was a bath AND shower (useful if you break your wrist so bath is the only option). Staff were really nice and helpful, and cheered me up after hospital with hot chocolate. No food as out of season (so check first if you want breakfast). I would go back though as great base for walks »

« Our room was clean,as was the bathroom. The matrass was very soft, would gave preferred firmer. The meals were satisfactory. I would visit again »

« Robin at reception was a true gem and the best part about the hotel. After her showing us to our room it all went downhill sadly. Bar staff and restaurant staff were inconsistent, didn't listen, were abrupt and stopped talking to us to chat to other people that had entered the pub. No thank you after the purchase of drinks, just a swift turn away. Told us what soup was available after I'd mentioned a week of Puree'd soup in Scotland had not been good... what soup did I get, puree'd veg after...
