Par contre petit couac, il n’y avait pas de produit d’hygiène dans la salle de bain pour la douche. De plus le petit déjeuner était fermé ce jour là. Mais nous avons été orienté vers un très bon endroit. »

« One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. »

« Lovely pub with nice rooms and a great breakfast! Friendly staff. Nice seating area in the back outside near the car park. It is close to Chatsworth House so we were sble to drive in to the country fair in 15 mins. »

« Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

« Had a lovely stay for our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend, staff were all lovely, polite and friendly. Service and food were excellent in the restaurant area. All of the hotel was clean and well kept. The bedroom we had was on the first floor overlooking the garden, very comfortable bed. Good soundproofing, we couldn’t hear anything from the other rooms. Location was good for Chatsworth and Bakewell. Would definitely stay there again »
