« Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

« Lovely building and location - out of the busy but not too far! Nicely decorated and furnished albeit it does feel like a walk if you’re in one of the 400+ numbered rooms! Ate in the brasserie one evening food was good but the battered fish, whilst plentiful, was maybe a bit “soggy”. The breakfasts were excellent and if you don’t see anything you like then maybe best stay at home! Room was huge as was the comfy bed. « We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« Hotel bien situé à l'écart des villages et proche d'une nature superbe. Malheureusement décor un peu vieillot et ....clientèle idem! Peut être les inconditonnels du charme de la vieille angleterre apprécieront (?). A noter que nous avions une des chmabres les moins chères (propre mais petite) mais cela ne change rien à notre avis sur l'atmosphère de l'hötel. « The hotel is beautiful from the outside and located in such a picturesque area but the room we got was a disappointment. Located on the first floor and tucked in a corner, it did not match the pictures on the site and looked rather old (except for the bathroom), with an uncomfortably slumping mattress.
