« Accueil très agréable, établissement très confortable, bien équipé avec une guest laundry très propre, café et thé au lobby à dispo avec sirops, lounge/salle de breakfast très Confortable, spacieuse et petit-déjeuner très copieux... à quelques 2 ou 3 miles du centre Winterset ... un établissement exceptionnel que je recommande vivement ! »

« My stay was good except when I returned in the evening my door would not unlock. Had to wait for staff to come change the battery. Waited about 29 min in the hall and had to call the desk again, he did then come up right away. »

« Despite the renovation work the areas are very well maintained and clean. The room was spacious and cozy. Missing some amenities I would expect but I think it’s because they have not finished putting everything together. Still a good place to stay. Total value for the money. »

« WOW! What an amazing place to stay! Just amazing! Check in and out was very simple and host was very responsive. I will be back! »

« Finally, a place listed as a secluded cabin that ACTUALLY IS a secluded cabin! It was everything we hoped for. Modern, comfortable, and relaxing. Sitting on the screened in porch, drinking coffee, and listening to the early morning rain was amazing. The main bathroom has a separate makeup mirror and great lighting. There's a county park nearby with hiking trails. And an old trestle bridge down the road; when the cars roll over the boards, it's like distant thunder. The host was easy to reach,...

« Fantastic property for larger families or groups. Our group was 5 adults and everyone had their own bed. There are 3 bathrooms which was great; plenty of nice towels. Two living/gathering areas inside and an outdoor deck with table/chairs. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, drink ware, and basic needs. Decor was very well done and interesting. Quiet neighborhood and a short drive to downtown. »

« Super clean, great communication, easy process throughout. Rural but exactly what I was looking for. Close proximity to Winterset, St. Charles, and Des Moines. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend! »

« This house was perfect and cozy. We loved our weekend here. Will definitely be back in the future and highly recommend to anyone. The neighborhood is very nice and we enjoyed daily walks. The location near downtown made everything convenient. »

« Overall a good home in good location. Few minor things could be added. Kitchen lacked a few things…had to run out to purchase a wire whisk, no food processor or hand mixer, throw rug immediately in front door was not clean…grass clippings. The grill worked but is very rusty. Better seating for 7 adults in living room and lower level would be fantastic too. But the price is good and we had a fine visit. »

« Beautiful farmhouse, wide open countryside, lovely front porch with swing, super comfy beds and plenty of space. Super well stocked with coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, charcoal and fluid, bug spray and swatters!! Tons of pots, pans, glassware, plates and cutlery. Also a full supply of paper plates, bowls, napkins and plastic ware. Highly recommended. »

« We had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The house itself was absolutely beautiful and very clean, which made us feel comfortable right away. It was also well-equipped that made our stay easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood was fantastic, safe, and perfect for families. One of our favorite features was the nearby park, which was wonderful for the kids and gave them plenty of space to play. The home is located on a very busy road, so there is some traffic and traffic noise, but it...
