« We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there. »

« The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. « The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga »

« The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking. The lighting could be improved throughout the house. With 6 bedrooms, there is plenty of seating for dining-note the two tables are in separate rooms. The furniture throughout is adequate. Plenty of seating in the LR and porch areas. The house was clean - if you have high expectations please remember this is a house in a rural & forested area, there will be spiders. We only saw a few. The location is really cool - very quiet, lots of stars. nearest...
