Had come to town to attend the airshow on July 13th. It was a long drive so I came in on Saturday so I could have a nice quiet peaceful evening and be refreshed for the show on Sunday. I could not have picked a better place to stay. There's just something about the atmosphere in a small town that is so relaxing. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating as well as the owner Jennifer. While the rooms aren't oversize,(this is a large renovated home)they are tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The beds are soft and the showers have plenty of pressure. My stay here contributed to a very pleasant weekend.I would not hesitate to stay here again
Our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The property itself felt neglected, with an atmosphere more reminiscent of an abandoned building than a welcoming place to stay. In the evening, there were no staff members available, which made the hotel feel empty and somewhat unsettled.
The situation didn't improve in the morning. During breakfast, a staff member was vacuuming loudly nearby while playing explicit rap music filled with profanity. This made for a very unpleasant and unprofessional dining environment.
Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality and overall condition of the hotel made our stay far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend this place unless significant improvements are made.
Do not stay here during the week unless you like solitude. It was literally devoid of personnel - no one on the premises, no service other than a continental breakfast. It is a beautifully renovated old inn, but creepy with no one present. We left; weâd have been the only people in the entire facility..
My wife and I have stayed at Avon Inn twice and we absolutely love it! It's very clean, well maintained and beautiful. The owner Jennifer does an outstanding job and is very accommodating. The town of Avon has everything you need. We highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.
It was our first time visiting, and it certainly will not be our last. The Avon Inn was one of the most amazing places we have stayed in all our travels. From the staff, to the restaurant, to the rooms, just amazing.
When they say check-in is at 4PM that is it! The place is locked up and you can't get in before 4. The front desk is closed from 9pm to 8am. Breakfast starts at 8am and you can't get into the dining room or lobby before because it is locked up. Overall it is a nice place, but I think they need to reconsider their customer service model.
This was our second stay at Avon Inn and it was lovely. The inn itself is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and unique-not cookie cutter. The restaurant at the inn serves great food and has great service. Itâs a great little place to stay if youâre in that area.
