« Lake was beautiful. Island is small, no place to walk the dog. Docks and other amenities could use Maintenance. The electric boat that was available to get back to the mainland was in disrepair. Had to rely on host. Felt a bit trapped on the island. »

« John is a wonderful host, helpful and accommodating. Spent 2 nights with 3 of my closest friends. The main comment to describe the main house was, "grandma's camp." (Rustic but homey) The ammentities really made the stay fun, set in a wooded landscape on the lake. The house was clean for the most part. The owner counts on the previous renters to clean the house, all the appliances, including the grill before leaving. We left the toaster oven, trash can and outdoor grill cleaner than we found it. »

« An absolutely worthwhile stay. You cannot beat it for the price and the owners are incredibly helpful and willing to assist throughout your entire stay. They stock the cabin with all of the essentials and then some. There is a ton to do near by and the owners will point you in the direction of anything that you may be interested in. »

« We stayed here for the weekend in the Winter.. everything as described, except I’m pretty sure both beds in the basement were Full (one is listed as Queen) and there was some water on the floor in one bedroom.. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked nice and inviting! »

« the property was clean and located on the lakefront. all amenities provided except we misunderstood that the towels provided were only bath towels so you would need to bring your own beach towels. Kayaking in the morning or just relaxing with a cup of coffee was beautiful. For the price, I would have expected basic supplies to last the full week. « Having the two apartments side by side with a connecting door was perfect for our situation. Both parties had privacy when needed but could easily share cooking,food and time together as they wished.
