« This hotel was under a major renovation. I think once that is done it will be an awesome place to stay. Hard to really rate fairly right now. Once renovations are complete I would stay there again. Parking was a odd set up but was free. »

« The staff was very nice! Our room was what we paid for. A lot of dead gnats throughout and the floors and toilet were dirty. There was a strong smell of cleaner the entire time we were there. We also couldn’t get extra pillows. The iron was in the office and we had to go get it. Otherwise it was fine! Pet friendly for a charge so that helped us. Not a ton of grass space to walk a dog around. »

« Bathroom toilet did not work properly, towels rough,TV did not work front desk clerk did not know how to tell us how to set. »

« the room was clean and that's it »

« We stayed at other hotels without a staff before, and this one works smoothly. Lovely, big sweets with comfortable beds, great rooms for relaxing, and a well appointed kitchenette There are no amenities but a fun Speakeasy. Located right downtown with lots of walkable shops and restaurants, »

« The owner is great to communicate with. It was quiet and convenient spot to stay. »

« room smelled bad and the AC did not work. »

« The cutest town! We’ve stayed here twice in two years. The candy store across the street has coffee too! It’s an old home in a beautiful old neighborhood, old stairs, nice big shower and old woodwork charm. One more fan would be helpful for the hot summers. Walkable to the food & shops! »

« A five star, blue ribbon, gold cup, first rate property. The setting, nestled along the banks of Elkhorn Creek, is a balm and a treat for bird watching and other indigenous animals in the area. The back porch is the highlight, accompanied by the sounds of birds and the Creek's current. Creekside Cottage is pet-friendly, and my senior German Shepherd sat mesmerized by the native wildlife and basked in the natural light and gentle breezes. The side yard had room for her to explore to her heart's...

« The kitchen is small but effective. Would recommend a couple of dishcloths for those who like to cook. The area was close to town and easy access to the highway. We stayed five nights and it was cozy for two people. It was a nice quiet area. It was clean and had the essential needs, even toothbrushes if people forgot theirs. »

« The place was gorgeous, beautifully set up and easy to get to. We were disappointed that we were unable to enjoy the outdoors due to the level of humidity. We recommend this place and we hope to stay here again for our future visits. »

« interior was very nice, toiletries etc were exceptional! driving up and seeing the property, I was about ready to turn around and go back, it was pathetic. took a few minutes to locate the driveway, and parking was very tight. but knowing what to expect next time, I would return »
