« We had a fabulous time in one of your beautifully restored suites at The Woodford Hotel. We were taking my 90 year old mother for a little get-away weekend, and your place ticked all of the boxes! Elevator to get to our suite on the second floor of a very old, but beautifully restored building. Check! A very clean, unique and lovely appointed suite. Check! We stayed in the Wild Turkey Suite--each suite had a theme of a local Kentucky distillery! We LOVED the taxidermy turkey on the mantle...

« The room was lovely, as was the whole property. It is in a historic building which has been very tastefully renovated. The owner updated the property while keeping the lovely historic details. The downtown area surrounding it was walkable to shops and restaurants and we felt very safe enjoying our walks in the area. The place felt comfortable yet spacious. « The location was perfect for our itinerary. Bathroom area was very small. There was no toaster of all things to heat a bagel or toast in the morning. Bed was comfortable. Rooms were clean. We could not get any standard TV channels on the TV's. But we really did not use the TV's much. Not sure I would recommend for what we paid over the weekend. But maybe that is the going rate for that area. »

« We were a group of 4 couples and and all loved this place! The host John was very helpful and communications with him were very conveniently answered and helpful. We enjoyed the ample spaces especially the outdoor amenities and the kitchen areas where we played board games and cards. The house is just outside of Versailles and was a convenient location for the Rail Explorers and the 2 distilleries that we wanted to visit. It’s not far from Frankfort and Lawrenceburg , many other distilleries...
