« It’s a good choice for staying near the lake. We stay there for a couple of days every August. It looks like the rooms were upgraded since last year. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are really, really comfortable. No restaurant in the building, but it shares a parking lot with Shoney’s, where they have a fantastic breakfast buffet. On the other side of the building there’s a convenience store with a couple of restaurants. Desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. »

« The house is old but updated well. Window ac worked very well.its decorated very nicely, very clean and had coffe& tea and a few other items which was nice. The view from the porch is very nice. Quiet and so much better than staying at a hotel. Host very responsive to questions. »

« The house at first seemed too far out of the way for me, but once we got there we loved the location by the river and with a dock to fish and swim from. We loved that. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfasts. It became a great base to visit Montgomery, Selma and Birmingham; along with visiting family in the area. »

« The inside is very clean and nice, great floor Plan. The rest is what it is. Location could be best described as remote. Wi-Fi is good. BTW, very narrow dirt road to get to property. Could use a few signs parking and house rules. When we arrived, the grass needed cutting badly, was cut the next morning after I texted the manager. Would not recommend for children. »

« We had a great stay in the very spacious and beautifully restored home! My family and I wanted a nice, clean home to stay overnight on our way to the beach and this was perfect! It is just as pictured and has everything you need and more. Shane was an excellent host and communication was great. My family and I will stay again on our way to the beach! »

« The location is wonderful. The property was excellent. You could walk about anywhere. Public transportation was very easy to use. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Beaches are very clean. The owner and her manager were excellent. And contact with them was very easy. The made our stay wonderful. »
