« The swimming pool was horrible. It was green, cloudy and had clumps of hair floating in it, big groups of bugs, trash etc. it was a hot weekend and I wanted to swim in the pool. Our group did not. We saw one swimmer pull out a large clump of dark hair that had stuck around her leg and throw it on the pool deck. The staff did not try to clean the pool or anything. « Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. « Crickets in bed rooms. Management told me it was my fault for opening the door! Funny thing is when we first walked in the crickets greeted us . Pool water was dirty. Could not see the bottom. Didn't swim because we weren't sure the water was safe. Will never stay at Hotel Cricket" again. »

« Our host was extremely accommodating. Communication was great. We were supplied with firewood and a great place to cook out. We spent our last evening by the fire pit and it was quite peaceful. This is the perfect place if you want a camping atmosphere without the camping nightmares (poor sleep, bugs all night, etc.) Our bed was comfortable, our shower was warm and the kitchen was clean and user friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s Place. »
