« Air conditioning was nice and cold, but it was leaking water onto the carpeted area throughout the night. The beds were average comfortability however, the pillows could have been larger or more to prop up with. The comforters were very thin, so when the air conditioner was blowing cold, we were freezing. « The room was dirty, smelled terrible, and was completely unlivable\. There were stains on the bed and walls, the bathtub was filthy, and the floors were buckled from what appeared to be water damage\. It was a horrible experience. We did not stay at the property because of the conditions\. We immediately requested a refund, but have not received a response yet\. We had to find another place to stay at our own expense. I would not recommend this property to anyone. »

« We loved staying at this property. The Zook cabin was an amazing, thoughtful design with a giant picture window that made you feel like you were right there in the woods. Glamping at its finest. All of the amenities one could ask for, and more. We enjoyed al fresco meals on the patio, swinging in the rope chairs, kayaking on the tandem kayak, and marveling at the wildlife on the lake. « First, the guestbook was an awesome idea! We had an amazing time sitting eating breakfast revisiting the adventures of others! We couldn’t be more comfortable or at peace in any other location! « The home was exceptionally clean and organized. The property was very private with large porches / decks to enjoy the natural beauty. Conveniently located close enough to town, but far enough away to have a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. For people coming to Lake Russell for fishing or boating, it works out perfectly. »
