WiFi very good, tv you better have your laptop because that's poor. Nice confortable bed, breakfast OK. Quiet far from beaches

Der Pool ist eine schöne Abkühlung, wenn nicht gerade ein Schwimmkurs darin stattfindet. Das Frühstück ist wenig westlich, aber man kann sich immer ein Omelette bestellen. Die Zimmer sind soweit ordentlich, aber die sanitären Anlagen sind alt, die Duschwanne und Vorhang waren sehr verdreckt und die Abflüsse haben teilweise gestunken. Großes Lob gilt dem freundlichen Personal.

We met very good nice staff. All sheets pilow covers toiletaries were changed every day. The staff helped us to find a desent honoust driver with cheap prices for his services. The hotel provides open bephie breakfast with delecious veriety of food. The main thing you feel safe and secure. It is located near three supermarkets

Centrally perfect placed hotel for excursions.
Jeg havde lejet bil og chauffør til at komme rundt på Bali... og til det formål var hotellet best placeret. Værelset var stort og veludstyret med sofa og sofabord, skrivebord og stol, to dobbelt senge, garderobeskab osv. Dog var værelserne under renovation, og det så man klart på badeværelset, der var i en meget trist, og i virkeligheden komplet uacceptabel, stand! Det store hotel var ramt af vulkan "skrækken", med meget få gæster, hvilket nok havde ramt økonomien til renovationen. Værelset var, trods sin størrelse, meget billigt - så jeg gjorde ikke nogen ståhej omkring badeværelset. Personalet var enormt flinke og høflige, og morgenmads udvalget enormt. Der ligger en McDonald's få skridt om hjørnet fra hotellet, hvis man er til noget andet. Alt i alt var jeg ganske tilfreds med hotellet. Poolen var stor og i god stand.

Great Value
The staff and the environment at the Grand Santhi is really 5 Star ***** in my opinion from the amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and went out of their way to meet my needs. One of the staff brought me bananas from his home town. They moved desks in the lobby and reception to allow me room to work at different times. The restaurant staff had my breakfast ready by the third day without me asking. The fresh fruits were amazing. From the service staff, reception, sales and marketing through human resources all took time to make me feel welcome and ensure I was happy with everything. Thoroughly recommend for anyone on short business trip. I came for dental work at Bali International Dental Clinic around the corner. Mall 21 and Matahari are within minutes of walking. Sanur is a short taxi ride. My only issue was the Wi-Fi and internet connection. The "Hotspot" didn't reach the 4th floor or dropped out frequently.

Good location for Denpasar shopping
Our stay here was ok, hotel different from our usual kuta/ubud accommodation, they are not used to dealing with Aussie tourist, so it was us out of our usual comfort zone, not a fault on their part, we would stay again.The plumbing in bathroom needs attention, staff were very helpfull, it was the language barrier that was a problem sometimes.

Disappointing aspects
First let me say that all the staff I dealt with were outstanding, from the man at reception on arrival to the lady who made the individual omelettes for breakfast the day I left. The biggest disappointment was the bathroom/toilet. The shower curtains (which I assume were once white or at least cream) were brown (dark brown at the bottom), and there was dark mould in the grouting around the tiles at the 'plug' end of the bath/shower. The towel rail almost came off the wall when I pulled a towel off it (one end actually came away) and the walls and floor around the toilet looked....nasty! This was a surprise and a great shame as the room itself appeared clean and tidy. A secondary disappointment was that the continental breakfast was uncovered (by any kind of protection from insects that is, it was covered, but in tiny fruitflies or something - which were on the fresh fruit, bread, etc etc. Not wanting to get Bali Belly I opted for the cooked breakfast and had a lovely omelette made for me too.

Een prima rustige plek!
Bij mijn aankomst bleek mijn kamer geen balkon te hebben,dus kreeg ik een upgrade naar een kamer bij het grote zwembad.Ook de wifi werkte niet goed,en dat werd ook direct oplost,door me een betere wifiverbinding aan te bieden. Het ontbijtbuffet is basic,en vooral een Aziatisch buffet,maar toch voor mij ruim voldoende,fruit,eieren,toasts,koffie,etc. Het restaurant had geen grote keuze,maar voor de vijf dagen dat ik daar was voldoende.De kwaliteit was uitstekend van het eten.Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

TERRIBLE experience
Terrible...supposed to be non-smoking in the whole building, but there was a hotel staff or customer or two in the space in front of my room, SMOKING all the time. I had asthma fit while staying this hotel and it got a LOT worse because of this...I complained to the hotel staff but they didn't do anything...I'd NEVER EVER go back again or recommend this hotel to anyone else.
