« A perfect little mountain escape — spacious, peaceful, and beautifully kept. The views were stunning from every window, the hot tub was the ideal end‑of‑day treat, and the home itself felt warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. Truly a wonderful getaway. Our host was pleasant to communicate with and made the whole experience memorable. Our family would definitely return in the future. »

« The property was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable and the portapots were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. We only gave 4 stars because the condensation buildup inside the dome dripped pretty steadily leaving puddles on the floor and bed got us in the face some while sleeping, it had also created some mold/mildew inside at the top. This is just something that happens with tents, but is definitely a little bit of a downside and we would have brought something to protect our bedding if we...

« Very clean. Very comfortable bed. Lower floor so potential for noise from above. We didn't hear much except for when the people moved in. Quite area with easy drive into Boone and just a few more minutes to Blowing Rock. Hot tub was great. All pretty much as advertised. »

« This cabin is just gorgeous. The setting over the pond is beautiful and it was great to sit outside with a book, a glass of wine and enjoy the cool air. The Fun Room was a lot of fun. I would recommend staying here to anyone that enjoys slowing down and cooling off for a bit. The kitchen was well appointed, but if you enjoy cooking, you may want to bring a couple of your own pans. Enjoy! »

« Had to contact host for check in info hours before arrival. Upon arrival, it appeared someone had a party there and failed to clean the house. Contacted the host and waited but no response, so we cleaned the house ourselves, a three level house. Very unorganized. Spent the whole first evening cleaning the house, of a two night stay. Poor communication. »

« We had a great time! The house was very comfortable and had all of the supplies that we needed. The porch was so nice and the hot tub was awesome! This area is within 30 mins of a lot different places: Linville Falls, blowing rock, banner elk, and Boone. »

nice, new and clean hotel - downside - off the beaten path in Boone so not many eateries within walking distance
