« My family and I had a wonderful week on Kiawah in this beautiful house. It's within easy walking distance of the beach and Night Heron Park, and very peaceful. Brought back many happy memories of my childhood vacations on the island. Thank you, Caroline! »

« My newly wedded wife and I loved our stay. The property itself was beautiful and the neighborhood felt very safe. Plenty of places to eat and hang out in the surrounding area. Will be recommending to friends and family in the future! »

« Perfect for a family of four, very clean. Walkable to playground. Great modern beach house. Very small but has everything you need. Shower room was very popular with our children, barn door to bathroom may not be ideal for everyone. We stay at Folly several times a year and this is a place we would stay again. »

« Everything was great; however, the Keurig coffee maker kept spewing coffee and grounds from the pods. Sometimes it would work and sometimes not probably needs to be replaced. We then used the coffeemaker with the pot. »

« We really enjoyed our stay. Cava was a gracious host and offered to help with anything we may have needed. The Sleepy Shack is quaint and its location is only minutes away from most Charleston attractions. We would definitely consider another stay the next time we visit! »

« Property manager communicated well and the property was as-described. Everything you need to have a good trip was there! »

« This is a gem in the inside but deceptively not on first outside glance. The place could have used some shelving in bathrooms. Maybe a better cupboard for dishes. We are older and getting down on the floor to get the dishes was a bit hard. But the place was overall great for four of us. Great outside sitting and a great grill. »

« This self-contained unit was clean and well appointed. The convenient location in downtown Charleston is within walking distance to many nice restaurants. The host was responsive in addressing our requests. There are sirens and helicopters in the area, but this is to be expected due to proximity to the medical center. We would stay here again. »

« Lovely cottage surrounded by oaks and foliage. Quiet and peaceful but also conveniently located near Folly Road. About 15 minutes from Folly Beach and Charleston and 30 from the airport. The owners live next door and we’re friendly and welcoming. They have local favorites and suggestions if you are looking for something off the beaten path. »

« We had a wonderful and very fun trip to Charleston. This house was a major part of that. The layout, the space, and it was very well appointed throughout. Very clean and the location was great. We walked most everywhere we went. Just blocks from Kings, Market and Meeting street. We did take Lyft a hand full of times and they were readily available for groups of 6. Definitely should be high on your list to stay in this fun and historic city! »

« My son and his girlfriend went for their first vacation getaway together. He said it was very nice and clean and they were able to check in early which was amazing! Good location to walk to all the restaurants and beaches. Overall he had a great time and made great memories! »

« What an excellent property! What excellent hosts! The property is (shallowly) tucked on a Country Club and is pristinely quiet. Grocery (Wal-Mart & Harris Teeter) are not even a 5 minute drive down the road, very convenient. We loved being able to cook our meals and relax by the pool — food in the pic was prepped & cooked there on site (by us, obviously). Kitchen was well supplied, bedroom was cozy and shower pressure was great. The pool is salt water based and doesn’t dry your skin after a dip....

"La chambre était vraiment petite pour 4 personnes. En particulier la salle de bain. L'ensemble manque aussi cruellement de modernité. Nous avons payé plus cher pour une vue sur le fleuve mais, c'était décevant, car on ne voyait quasiment rien. Nous étions 4 mais n'avons eu que 3 sets de serviettes tout le long du séjour, malgré que nous ayons signalé l'erreur à l'accueil. Il est indiqué sur Hôtels.com qu'il y a une laverie dans l'hôtel mais c'est faux. Bref, le rapport qualité prix n'est pas au rendez-vous. Le point positif est la localisation de l'hôtel en centre ville."
