« We had a wonderful stay at Shimmy's apartment. The place was immaculate. It is so nice to stay at a place that is so well taken care of. Our hosts were wonderful! It is evident that their aim is to ensure the guests are comfortable and are able to enjoy their stay. We definitely recommend the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Chicago. It is a big city and if you don't bring a car, you can get to the bus stop in a few minutes walk, then you can use trains to get around Chicago without any...

The address was wrong and if I wasn’t raised in that part of Chicago I would have been very confused.Plus I checked in late at night. It wasn’t an easy process. Next time it will be diffeeent. »

« For it being an older building and the silly things that come with that, it was so close to coffee, record shops, parks and even a library. Loved how close it was to explore Chicago but be in a cozy place. Neighbor was quiet, which I enjoyed. Definitely will book again. »

« Comfortable place to land after seeing the city, right by the Red Line. Spacious, well-lit and generally clean inside the unit itself. However, hallways and stairwells in the apartment building were smelly and could've used a good sweep. No big deal if you've lived in apartment buildings before, and the Vrbo itself was quiet and clean. Overall, a great value and recommended for a budget-conscious solo traveler or couple! »
