Outside you'll find a screened porch with Hot Tub and sitting area and a covered deck with a hammock and sound views!

Top Level: Great room with flat-screen TV/DVD, gas fireplace, sound views, and screened porch access with outside dining for 4, gas grill and a crows nest with seating area and stunning water views! Kitchen with counter seating for 2, coffee bar, dining area seating 7 and a Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV, and a semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas).

4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive vehicles such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.
Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Carova Beach is convenient for families because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive vehicle brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and enjoy the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and enjoy the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and lots of waterfowl on the sound.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are included with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County. The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center. Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip .

Great location

Well equipped house. Very helpful and responsive host. Perfect location. Good internet. Horses and deer on the property every other day. You can see the first nice touches from the new owner. House needs some TLC but other than that we can recommend. Be aware that you need to drive 8 mls on the beach and you have to watch the tide. At high tide you can’t pass and have to wait an hour or two..
