« What a cute place! The view is so beautiful and it’s quiet and conveniently located. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Hallway lighting could be improved since the nightlights go off after a few minutes. Host helped adjust our stay to accommodate changes in our plans. Very nice place. »

« Maria is an amazing host to a beautiful property! Check-in was seamless, the property was very clean, easy to access, and the view of the lake was breathtaking. Maria left clear instructions, clean linens, fresh fruit, and granola bars and chocolates. We rented this property for my son's graduation. The property is less than 20 mins from the school. « We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there. »

« It was an interesting area and the rooms were quite spacious. The building seemed to have some improvements. It is an 19th century hotel so it must be an ongoing process. Bathrooms could be cleaner. We loved steeetside porch and 2nd floor porch. »

« The property is a early 20th century house in the small downtown area of Scottsville, with easy access to Rochester, Henrietta, etc. The interior is wonderfully decorated including possibly early 19th century funiture, artwork, maps, etc. The layout is a dormitory-type of plan, with a shared kitchen, etc. »
