« Nice and cozy. Just far enough away from town to feel “away from it all,” yet close enough that it’s not a haul to get into town. The place is very clean, with all the basic essentials you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. My ONLY warning is it is a garage apartment. Very low ceilings. I’m 6’5” and I walked around the last 3 days with head tilted. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and I’d book this place again. »

« The first night we stayed here, we got locked out of the house because the batteries for the automatic lock had died. We called the maintenance guy, but he was not able to get in as there was not a spare key where the owner said it was. The owner stopped answering his phone and essentially left us stranded. We ended up having to crawl through a window to get in. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower is no more than a trickle. »

« Convenient location. Nicely appointed apartment, comfortable for four. One bathroom requires patience and planning. The ladies would have liked another mirror. No problems with AC or appliances. Plenty of hot water, sometimes too hot.Parking was a concern but we had no problems. Being forewarned, the stair were not a problem. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again with no hesitation. A fun trip to KY for the Bourbon Trail and horse farm tour. JLM »
