« Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building...

« The stay was very nice! My one complaint was that there were no paper towels, so it was difficult to thoroughly clean, and there was no shampoo or soap in the bathrooms. Other than that, I was pleased. »

« The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had a memorial event at the Boatyard, and Kim went so far as to make my mother's potato salad recipe! The property is beautiful and the Inn is charming and comfortable. »
