« Very dated, cramped room. »

« Not really any staff for the rooms, clean, no tv in the bedroom, didn’t really see staff til the second day, when someone randomly walk in our room, didn’t knock or anything, kept getting text about an odor in the hallway, but didn’t smell anything. The food from the restaurant was good. Our patio was right above the smoking area outside so when we opened it up, cigarette smells came in really bad. Overall was and ok stay, just ok. »

« Friendly hosts, great rooms, lovely to get tea or coffee in the morning in your room. Breakfast was ok, not the draw. »

« Lovely respite. Comfortable cottage with three beds (two bedrooms) and one bathroom, plus view of a picturesque pastoral scene: a field of green grass, white fence, a friendly dog who politely asks to play ball if you like (and leaves you alone if you don’t), and the occasional mooing of the cows in the distance. There’s WiFi in the house if you need it (no WiFi in cottages) but it’s the kind of place where it’s a good idea to unplug. I enjoyed making a cup of coffee first thing in the...
