« Family of four, we were able to go hiking and comeback and relax after a long day exploring. The place was excellent! Comfortable living room area, beds were good, kitchen was well stocked, clean towels. Wonderful stay! »

« It looked just like the photos. Loved the backyard. The beds were extremely comfortable as was the bedding. The living room was very comfy. The whole setup was very charming. And she had a lot of little extras. Very thoughtful extras. Like spices, olive oil etc in the kitchen. She also had dog food and water bowls. A specific dog towel, poop bags, a leash and also a chuck-it to play fetch. She was extremely accessible and responsive. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. »

« Overall, nice and comfortable. However, we had some issues ... 1) Problems with locking and unlocking the dead bolt. We had to force the door handle up and out while locking, which didn't always work (dead bolt needs to be adjusted). 2) Upper-level toilet is clogged and plunger didn't work (it was clogged before we even used it and not sure that anyone ever checked that during cleaning). Some sinks even drained slowly. 3) We were unaware that charcoal grills and BBQ'n just outside the condo...

« This is an old farmhouse on a working farm and with that comes what you might expect, inconsistent heat, lower water pressure, and flies. The home is comforable and well appointed. The host is responsive. The listing says 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms but the third bathroom is in the basement down a treacherous narrow, steep, uneven staircase without a rail. No one in our group felt safe using that staircase. So it was basically a 2 bath for us which was disappointing as we wanted 3. Its also a pet...

« Really spacious, and clean. Great communication from the owner. The jets in the tub weren't working but he responded late at night when i messaged about it. Some wear and tear on the futniture but overall really nice. Also super close to Starved Rock. Well definitely look into staying again when we come back over the summer »
