« The historic home was clean and well decorated, and the spacious property well maintained. Because of our early season visit to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday, we unfortunately weren’t able to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities, but hope to return during a warmer time to get the full experience. « We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. The house is an old farmhouse that has been added on to over the years which makes for long windy hallways upstairs and lots of hidden staircases. We loved it. Do note...

« What the photos don't show is that the property is surrounded with junk and there appears to be a major lack of management. TV and internet were out for a good chunk of the stay, the TV needs to come with a manual as it's not at all user friendly. We had to leave a week early due to overflowing trash cans outside and lack of customer support. I do believe they are trying and understand some people don't need tidiness or internet/TV but for us this did not work. »
