« Perfect place for 2! This house is adorable, clean and close to the square. The bed was cozy, the TV had options for HBO, YouTube and more. The mini fridge and microwave we perfect for a short stay. My daughter and I came to town for all Vampire Diaries fun Covington had to offer. We walked to the square our first day ((17 min walk) and chose to drive to town the other two days. « Checked in and immediately noticed roaches. Not water bugs like you would find at a lake, but German cockroaches. Not just big ones but babies which means there’s a ton. The Wi-Fi never worked, the shower never turned off literally ran hot water 24 hours a day. The other shower door does not close completely and you had to hold it closed while showering. « There were rotten oranges in the cabinet, the heat didn’t work, the host solution was for me to drive to Walmart and buy space heaters. After I refused, he had 1 space heater sent to the house via his cleaner. Everyone had to sleep in the same room to stay warm. Lows during our stay were in the teens at night. »

« Very nice. No stove but they provide a single portable burner which worked well. To get to the tiny home theres a steep hill and steps with uneven pavers which wasn’t a problem but could be for others with medical problems. Wifi went out on us but host got it back up and running after 5 minutes. Shower also stopped working while we were using the sink. Only big problem was the area. Very sketchy, and my husband claimed to hear gunshots on our first night. »

« There are so many great things to say about Regal Cottage.It gives Resort Feel on the Lake The Cottage was very neat and CLEAN and smelled amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked, nice quality towels in the bathroom, blankets for guests.The water views from the open floor plan and screened in porch makes this rental my favorite.Plenty of seating in the house & outside, great for family, friends & kids.
