« This was a great cabin, it was super nice on the inside and beautiful views outside. The drive up the mountain is very steep but almost entirely paved, which makes it easier. It's still a pretty intimidating drive, 2 miles at a 45 or more angle. The internet worked great. It is very close to everything, the grocery store lowes is nearby which I highly recommend, and mountain dog coffee is close by which was very good. « We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...

« Great place to stay and set up to bring dogs with also. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths attached to bedrooms. Kitchen set up to be able to cook in easily though cottage close to town of Black Mountain that has great restaurants. Cottage also has washer and dryer which was helpful. Also has hot tub which we used one evening. Fenced in yard for dogs. Very comfortable up to house up to 4 people. »

« Great little getaway cabin. Some hiking trails in the area were still closed, but the hosts gave excellent alternatives. Loved being able to bring our dogs. We all had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The weather was cool and the hot tub was great!
