« We have an annual trip with friends and family every year and this was by far one of our favorite houses. It is ski in ski out but unfortunately the conditions weren’t cold enough for the run the house was on to be open. Still was a great spot because it’s only a two minute walk to get to the top of the mountain. Overall great place and would stay here again! »

« Great communication from the host, very clean cabin. Stocked with dishes and towels.The pictures really are from the back porch of the cabin, the view is gorgeous and secluded. Great for hiking trips to Pisgah National forest The only issue was there is a 10:00 or 11:00pm noise ordinance for the area and the cabin has a noise monitor for it, I didn't see that mentioned in the listing »

« Overall our stay was amazing! Was our first time experiencing snow while vacationing in the mountains!!! Brad was a great host, he made sure our Checkin process was smooth and also Checkin on us after we settled and gave us some recommendations while we was visiting! Thank you so much!! Everything was perfectly cleaned when we arrived! Also the hot tub was already on and ready but we didn’t get in due to the temperature was to cold outside. (I wish we did though lol) »

« We stayed here as a family of four for a short snowboarding trip and had a great experience. The place is tucked into the hillside and felt cozy and welcoming. It was clean, warm, and had plenty of space for all of us. The location was especially convenient, just a short drive from the Hatley Pointe ski area. Everything we needed was there, and we were comfortable the entire stay. We’d definitely come back and would love to stay longer next time! »

« What an incredible getaway! Whispering Pines was so much more than we expected. The home itself was built so thoughtfully and with so much imagination. Attention to detail in every nook and cranny made for the most magical place for our children. It really felt like something out of a storybook, especially the bunk room where the kids stayed. A mountain trip had been on our son's bucket list for some time and this exceded all of his expectations. The second we left he asked when we could return....

« My family spent Christmas 2025 here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We absolutely loved our stay here! The place was clean, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable, and the mountain views were just stunning.
